I) Down town Athens area access from airport :Arriving by plane you may reach down town Athens area using the METRO (please not confuse it with the Metropolitan train that use the same terminal) or the "Airport Express Bus X95" to Syntagma Square.
II) How to reach Nestorion Hotel from Athens :
From your nearest Metro station to "Syggrou-Fix" metro station using line "2" Towards "AGHIOS DIMITRIOS" exit "DRAKOS", then using the bussess: B2 or 550 then disembark at "Onasseio" bus stop, then pass on the other side of the road using the underpass.
Coming out of the underpass head right at Aeroporon street, then turn right at Pentelis street. A2 disembark at "Iassonos" bus stop. 126 disembark at "Bank" bus stop.
III) To Athens Center :
Take any bus at the bus stop (Eugenidio" just aoutside the Rea Maternity Hospital towards Athens down town and deisembark station "Syggrou_Fix" metro bus stop. Then take the Metro, towards "AGIOS ANTONIOS" to Syntagma.
IV) As far as the transportation cost is concerned note :
Metro ticket cost per ride (from or to the airport): 6 € for one person 10 € for two persons, 15 € for three persons.
X95 Express Bus ticket cost per ride (from or the airport) 3.20 € for one person.
V) Transport information within the Athens area :
Using any kind of transportation in Athens area cost 1.40 € for a duration of 1 and half hour ride. You may exchange transportation type as many times you like within, this time you have to validate your ticket on the beginning of the first ride (validation machines are availiable in the metro stations and inside the buses.
Tickets are availiable in the metro station and from any kiosk.
You may get also a daily ticket or a weekly ticket (you may easily find those tickets in the metrostations, you have to validate your ticket on the beginning of the first ride)
